Outdoor Voices has joined forces with Jordan Jones from Camp Gladiator for their September sweat event! You’ll sweat it out with full-body workouts incorporating cardio (at your mat) and strength. Workouts are go-at-your-own-pace for all fitness levels. Following your endorphin boost, join them for a drink upstairs at Ellis!

We’re baaaaaaaack!! Well, let’s hope so anyway!! There are still tickets for the Longhorns’ first home game of the season against Louisiana Tech. Game days at DKR have really been upgraded in the past two years. Come early and check out all the food trucks and activities along BEVO Blvd. You can also visit the brand new UT Hall of Fame that opened this week just in time to get you super pumped for some Longhorn magic to happen. And Jack Ingram will be playing at Longhorn City Limits before the game at 5:30 p.m.! Thanks to AD Chris Del Conte, every home game is basically like ACL, the rodeo, and the Super Bowl all rolled into one.

The House of Songs ATXP2P series connects Austin songwriters from different genres, backgrounds, and styles to create new music together. Every session features four artists performing solo works (20 min sets) with transitions between artists featuring songs they have written as a pair. Tonight artists are Natalie Price Music, Daisy O’Connor, and Graham Weber & Taylor Williams of Western Youth & Rob Baird!

Tacodeli will be providing tacos, Austin Beerworks will be serving beer, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will be serving a special Tacodeli / Tito’s cocktail. Rambler Sparkling Water is going to help us get through this heat!

It’s the first day of classes on the Forty Acres, and to cap it all off there is a free outdoor screening of Avengers: Endgame right on the Main Mall! It’s free for UT students, staff, and faculty (and a guest*) with a valid UTID. There will be free popcorn and refreshments, but outside food and drinks are allowed as well.

*Your guest doesn’t need a UTID.

It’s time again for the world’s largest hot sauce festival, which is now in its 29th year! Austin takes salsa very seriously, so the competition is going to be (quite literally) heating up today.

Come hungry! Enjoy Food from Amy’s Ice Creams, Garbo’s Lobster Truck ATX, Torchy’s Tacos, and tons more!

Not only is this event so much friggin fun, it also benefits a wonderful cause. Admission is free with a $5 cash donation to the Central Texas Food Bank, or three nonperishable food items.

Even though we have lots of warm weather still ahead of us, the summer is coming to an end as football season is almost here! So naturally, Black Sheep Lodge is having a giant tiki party to celebrate. They’ll have hourly drink specials, live screen printing, a watermelon carving contest (starting around 8 p.m.), limbo contest, and a DJ!

There will also be a raffle with great prizes that will benefit Ben’s Friends AUSTIN Chapter!

It’s the big finale of the Wildflower Center’s outdoor cinema series, and they’ve saved the best for last—Clueless! The event is presented in collaboration with Alamo Drafthouse Austin. Pack a blanket or enjoy the soft grass of the Family Garden Play Lawn and watch Cher navigate all the high school drama under the big open sky at dusk.

Think you’ve got better plans than rolling with your homies to this final Movies in the Wild of the season? As if! The film begins at sundown and is included with regular admission to the center. Free for members!
