The 15th Annual Staple Independent Media Expo takes place October 12-13 at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex, featuring more than 200 artists and creators. Highlights include a live art show benefit, educational panels and family-friendly activities.
The convention takes place over two days with vendors showcasing independently made comics, zines, art, crafts and games. Visitors can interact with artists, sit in on tutorials and panels, and enjoy refreshments from the venue’s full service food court.
Hours for the expo are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 13. Tickets are cash only and available to purchase at the door. General admission is $10 for one day or $15 for two days. Students and military personnel can get a discounted two-day pass for $10 with a valid ID. The event is free for kids 12 and younger.
