Hyatt Regency Austin will host its annual Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, November 22. For the first time, the holiday brunch will take place in the hotel’s newly-renovated Foothills Ballroom, located on the 17th floor, providing panoramic views of the downtown Austin skyline.
The Thanksgiving brunch will feature favorite holiday dishes including an herb-roasted turkey breast with a cranberry and mandarin orange compote, apple cornbread stuffing, candied sweet potatoes, potato casserole, buttermilk mashed potatoes, roasted baby carrots, smoked broccolini, creamed spinach, and baked white cheddar mac n’ cheese.
In addition to the traditional holiday dishes, the menu will also include a station of Texas cured meats and cheeses; soup options including a roasted pumpkin soup with a spiced crème fraiche and a smoked turkey and white bean soup; a variety of salad options ranging from a root vegetable salad to a fall harvest salad bar complete with pecans, smoked bacon bits, and a variety of dressings; a variety of seafood dishes including king crab, hand-shucked oysters, poached shrimp, and chef-prepared sushi rolls and nigiri; breakfast specialties ranging from vanilla French toast and buttermilk pancakes to made-to-order country omelets; and a carving station with prime rib and bourbon-glazed ham.
A variety of desserts will also be available including individual pumpkin pies, cranberry orange crème brûlée, a spiced pumpkin tart, pear toffee and milk chocolate mousse, and many other options including gluten free and vegan selections.
The meal will feature live music from Tim Eismeier and guests 21-years-old and older will receive a complimentary sparkling wine toast.
