Okay, okay….I realize that today’s event is a little South of Austin’s city limits but it is worth the trip. It is exactly what the title suggests, wiener dog races. You’re probably wondering how exactly it all goes down. Imagine a track meet but for dogs. It’s pretty entertaining and the money goes to a good cause. Urban Outfitters DIY: Indigo Dye Workshop

During this indigo intensive, we will cover the history, myth, and lore of indigo. This workshop will provide the fundamentals of this historic pattern-making process and will focus on folding, tying, and clamped resist methods. You will learn a variety of methods for creating different patterns. We will provide material for you to practice with, as well as a cotton bandana for each attendee. The indigo vats will be set up for you to use and play! Feel free to bring your own goods to dye, but please avoid bulky pieces (towels, linens, bedding etc.), as vat space and time

They specialize in farmhouse style beers, where you can find sour style beers, naturally fermented seasonal offerings and extremely experimental brews that are offered year round.
