The removal of visual overstimulation leads to a state of sensory deprivation, leading audience members to appreciate why Shakespeare is still performed 400 years after his death: it's all about the language. Every year, Fonda recognizes Dia de los Muertos with a beautiful, handmade ofrenda (altar) prepared by staff to honor the spirits and souls of loved ones passed.
