The Sunday Morning Math Circle will be in room 5.104 of Robert Lee Moore Hall on the campus of UT on Sunday May 5, 12-2pm. The SMMG is an outreach event targeted at 6th-12th graders which attempts to supplement math topics that aren't often covered in traditional math classes. We will be discussing imaginary numbers--what are they? What do they mean? Do imaginary numbers really exist? We will also discuss how imaginary numbers help us in the real world.
