Fareground, Austin’s first and only food hall featuring some of Austin’s most celebrated culinary gems, will host “Warriors + Wine”, a memorable, mindfulness experience that blends yoga and wine tasting. The series debuts on Wednesday, May 15th from 6p-8:30 pm with “Grounded: Texas Terroir.” The experience will bring together celebrated yoga practitioners, winemakers, and lifestyle brands with a different Fareground vendor providing dinner at each monthly installment.

Old Thousand is kicking off their daily Dim Sum Dinner service with a Game of Carts on Wednesday, May 15. Featuring dim sum carts & cocktails beginning with happy hour offering half off dim sum from 5-7 pm (first come, first serve seating), followed by regular dim sum service at 7 pm. Chefs Page Pressley, Jeff Brown and Rhys Davis will be on deck featuring their best dim sum dishes. Happy hour is first come, first serve, dim sum dinner requires reservations. Austin Shakespeare will bring the romance, comedy and dramatic clashes of The Merchant of Venice to the Beverly S. Sheffield Zilker Hillside Theater in May. Produced in collaboration with the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department for the 35th year, Shakespeare’s famous play will be performed under the stars from May 9 to May 26 on Thursdays to Sundays at 8 p.m., with a preview performance on Wednesday, May 8.
