The Liberty Hill Sculpture Festival is reaching new heights this year with the addition of hot air balloons! The morning will kick off at 7 a.m. with a raffle to win a ride in a Hot Air Balloon. The balloons will launch at 7:45 a.m., just as a 5K Fun Run begins. Visitors are encouraged to stay all morning to watch live sculpting demos in a variety of mediums, including stone, wood, metal, glass, sand and ice. Join your community for the Liberty Hill Sculpture Fest Fun Run on October 19th at sunrise! Runners take off just as the hot air balloons launch from Lions Foundation Park. Wind your way through the park and around downtown while you watch the balloons soar away. All participants who register by October 1st will receive a Fun Run t-shirt and a commemorative medal. This is not a chip-timed event. Course is 5K. After the run, participants are invited to spend the morning at the park for the Sculpture Festival.

Join us October 19th for a Hot Air Balloon Glow, Street Dance featuring People's Choice Band & a Silent Disco hosted by three high-energy DJs. With country, hip-hop, 80s, and pop, this is an evening for all generations and ages! Tethered balloon rides are available at the festival for $25. All balloon activities are weather dependent. Free parking and shuttles at Liberty Hill Junior High, Bill Burden Elementary, and Liberty Hill Elementary. Handicapped & VIP Parking at Liberty Hill Intermediate School.

Nightmare on Jail Hill Haunted House takes place at the Historic Williamson County Jail. This rumored haunted jailhouse, which held prisoners from 1889 through 1990, has been featured on the popular show “Ghost Hunters.” Fast Pass tickets are $25, adult tickets are $15 and child tickets are $5 (ages 8-12).
