The 24th annual Texas Book Festival, one of the largest and most prestigious literary festivals in the country, will be held October 26-27, 2019. The Festival runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Texas Book Festival Weekend is free and open to the public and takes place in Austin, Texas, at the State Capitol and surrounding grounds. The 2019 TBF lineup will feature more than 250 celebrated and emerging writers, including journalists, artists, scientists, and more. Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, formerly known as Waller Creek Conservancy, will host Dance Waterloo’s upcoming VITAL showcase. The set of performances encourage new audiences to discover and experience dance in unconventional, forgotten, or overlooked public spaces within the city of Austin. The public is invited to act as both an observer and participant through a series of free dance performances inspired by Waterloo Greenway’s revitalization of Symphony Square, Waller Creek, and the surrounding urban greenspace.
