Opening early this year on Nov 22, the 19th annual Blue Genie Art Bazaar (BGAB) is a beloved holiday shopping experience featuring the work of more than 200 regional artists. Find one-of-a-kind, handcrafted jewelry, artwork, home goods and gifts for everyone on the shopping list. The Bazaar will also present special events and live music each week. As always, BGAB is a family-friendly experience where shoppers can purchase holiday gifts in a hassle-free environment with centralized checkout while supporting local vendors. Georgetown Annual Lighting of the Square
The Annual Lighting of the Square marks the official start of Georgetown’s holiday season. At this free event join Georgetown Mayor Dale Ross and Santa as they count down to flip on more than holiday lights. In addition to singing along with the Austin Carolers, visitors can get ahead on their holiday shopping as all downtown shops will be open until 8 pm. The holiday lights shine nightly through December 31.
