The “Red Poppy Capital Of Texas,” Georgetown, Texas, will celebrate its 20th Annual Red Poppy Festival April 26 - 28, in honor of red poppy season; it is one of the few locations in the United States where red poppies grow naturally. Georgetown hosts a free, three-day festival to honor the history and beauty of its poppy season. The weekend includes parades, a car show, live music, cooking contest, art, food and family-friendly activities including the Kid’s Fun Zone with a bounce house, obstacle course, toddler playground and more.
