      Music Under the Star: Midnight Stroll with Walker Lukens

      When: Friday, July 8, 6-9 pm

      Where: Bullock Texas State Museum, 1800 Congress Ave.

      Enjoy a free concert in the Bullock Museum’s Lone Star Plaza with Walker Lukens opening for Midnight Stroll. Bring the whole family, camp chairs, and blankets to enjoy an incredible lineup of Texas artists.

      Shrek the Musical

      Trouble on the Double

      When: Saturday, July 9 at 2:00 and 4:00 p; Sunday, July 10 at 2:00 pm

      Where: Long Center for Performing Arts, 701 W. Riverside Dr.

      Best suited for kids ages 4-10 years old, Trouble on the Double follows the story of young twins who may look alike but have very different personalities. While one is brave and not afraid to try anything, the other is timid and does not like to take any risks. Can these siblings learn to balance each other out? How much adventure is fun and how much is dangerous? Hepp-Galvan’s newest play for Pollyanna will have audiences both thinking and laughing as the action unfolds. Cost: $12.50-$16.50.

      Deep Eddy Pool Splash Party Movie Night: Raiders of the Lost Ark

      When: Saturday, July 9, dusk

      Where: Deep Eddy Pool, 401 Deep Eddy Ave.

      Come see some of the latest releases and your old favorites, while you cool off in the 72-degree water or picnic on the hill. All movies begin at dusk. The regular pool entrance fee covers the movies and pool entrance.
