Sour Duck Market is hosting a Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., or until sold out. Come support your local farmers and expect farm-fresh produce and goods! Bonus: Happy hour runs from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Join Sour Duck Market and Wine For the People (makers of Dandy Rosé and The Grower Project) to close out SXSW with one of Austin’s local winemakers. Featuring Dandy Rosé’s newest vintage release, guests can drink pink to welcome spring with live music, wine specials and more. Rae Wilson, Founder of Wine For the People, will be in attendance to chat Texas wine, her new Dandy Rosé release and the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to build Citizen Wine, an Austin-based tasting room and wine cellar to come next year!

As fall temps finally reveal themselves, The Brewer’s Table steps up the Friday night cookout game with a garden BBQ collaboration featuring two renowned guest Pitmasters, Evan LeRoy of LeRoy and Lewis and Matt Horn of Oakland’s Horn Barbecue. They join TBT’s own chef Zach Hunter for a night of collaborative BBQ and brews. Head Brewer Drew Durish will also be releasing two new beers during the event — Husked Away, a corn husk-infused Mexican lager with black lime — and Fine, a hoppy wheat lager made with Citra and Ekuanot hops.

Tickets are $30 and include a heaping plate of food with an element from each Chef (menu to be announced soon) and two of Drew’s new brews. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Lager Garden and cocktail bar’s outdoor container bar.

Guests can mingle with the chefs at the outside smoker and enjoy games in the outdoor space including bocce.

Tickets can be purchased in advance HERE.

        More details on Drew’s Brews:

Husked Away- A riff on a Mexican lager with a twist! We infused the brewing water with toasted corn husks that contribute a faint green tea character without the astringency. We then used the corn husk foundation water to mash in with flaked maize, Munich, and Vienna malts, then added black limes at the end of the boil to create an oddly familiar drinking mate that you can’t quite put your finger on…yet. With six weeks in a medium-plus toast foeder, the oak pops off in between wisps of limeade and spice forward hops.

Fine- We’ll make some hoppy jazz. This hoppy wheat lager received a healthy dusting of Citra and Ekuanot hops, with another blast of Simcoe lupulin powder. Then we did it again because that’s how we roll occasionally. Fine spent five weeks in a medium toast foeder before moving to stainless for a final dry hop prior to packaging.

          Sit, Relax, Listen, Enjoy!

                About E.T. the Extra Terrestrial
It’s a true classic that’s got everything: An alien, a precious young Drew Barrymore, friendship, and an iconic music score.
As Elliott discovers a lost alien hidden in his family’s tool shed, his only interest is to befriend, take care of, and protect E.T. While things escalate, Elliott’s connection to E.T. branches into a psychological and metaphysical world. A triumphant story of friendship, childhood, and adventure, E.T. has been found its way into the hearts of millions.
