    Sour Duck Market is hosting a Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., or until sold out. Come support your local farmers and expect farm-fresh produce and goods! Bonus: Happy hour runs from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

      Hotel Granduca Austin is celebrating Thanksgiving, offering an over-the-top holiday buffet, live music, and bottomless mimosas on Thursday, November 28 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Salone Ducale Ballroom. With options for adults and children, ensuring Thanksgiving is seamless and satisfying for the whole family, the holiday buffet will include a traditional ham and turkey carving station, mashed potatoes and candied yams, onion-crusted green bean casserole, and more.

This will be a hands on class and you will enjoy all the recipes made in the class.

          Learn how to make perfect sushi rice with flavorful vinegars and no sugar! You’ll get to roll your own rainbow rolls with fresh vegetables, herbs, and homemade pickles, make avocado nigiri, and learn how to plate and garnish sushi rolls for a beautiful presentation!             Uchiko’s Ko-Lab series—memorable dinners created by renowned chefs from Austin and beyond in collaboration with Uchiko Chef De Cuisine Edward Sura—presents a flavorful 8-course dining experience in partnership with Chef James Rigato of Detroit restaurant Mabel Gray. Menu items for the evening will be specially paired with cider from Angry Orchard (an orchard located in the heart of the Hudson Valley in Walden, New York that is committed to bringing traditional cider varieties and lost heirloom varieties back to the United States). Dishes presented will feature a mix of both family-style and individual plates, including: an oyster duo (baked and raw); Honeycrisp apple kimchi, Guernsey sour cream, spiced cashew, shaved Benton’s ham, scallion; nigiri; braised abalone mushrooms, smoked and fermented apples, frisee, brown butter; clams and wild boar green chorizo, Jester King ale broth, pickled chilies, heirloom beans, herbs; whole rainbow trout; wood grilled jerk heritage chicken with marinated cucumber; dessert.               Stop by Roughhouse Brewing for FALL-TOBER Fest on Saturday 10/19, featuring the release our fall festival ale, Little Reward, brewed with S. Baker Kitchen pretzels! You will receive a ‘little reward’ with each pour ordered (while supplies last)!

              Our on-site kitchen will feature its new fall menu, including the long-awaited return of Texas Chili! Festive desserts and non-alcoholic drink items will be available as well.

                Come by Mean Eyed Cat for the Sweet 15 on Friday, September 27 from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. Mean Eyed Cat will be selling limited Vintage T-shirts. Band in Black will be hitting the stage from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. Top it all of with food specials Do-Rite who will be serving up meats and treats to celebrate!

                  We’re excited to be screening Mean Girls on the Rosewood lawn for our September movie night! Admittance is free for all ages and dogs; movie night menu includes drinks, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and candy. Come early with blankets and chairs to snag a lawn spot, but no outside food or drinks. Movie starts at 8PM! It’ll be like… so fetch.
