Chris Goddin, LAc, MAcOM, is an integrative medicine specialist, licensed acupuncturist and master herbalist. He regularly treats a variety of chronic conditions with a patient-centered approach focused on providing the most effective treatments possible.
It’s not only the mind that needs to grieve, it’s the body as well. Yoga integrates body, mind, and spirit. Grief, our natural response to loss, creates tension not only in the mind, but in the nervous system and the muscles that hold us. This gentle, restorative, and trauma-informed yoga class offers the space for letting go of tension in the body, and in turn, creating greater ease within the mind. Feel a sense of community without having to speak a word, feel physically and emotionally supported, gain a sense of control, peace and acceptance in the aftermath of loss. No prior yoga experience is necessary to participate in this group. We will be using restorative yoga which emphasizes on being mindful and present in the moment rather than technique.

~Calm your nervous system with the deeply relaxing vibrations of various-toned singing bowls
~Learn specific tools and techniques you can use in the moment when you feel a wave of stress arise
~Learn key nutritional tips to help build resiliency
~Experience acupuncture points that target stress, as you bathe in the vibrations of the singing bowls—this is powerful stuff!! (acupuncture points are optional, and varying levels of stimulation without needles will be provided as well)
~Enjoy a guided visualization, allowing it all to sink in that much deeper

Wanderlust, producer of the largest yoga lifestyle events in the world, in partnership with adidas, brings Wanderlust 108, the world’s only mindful triathlon, back to Austin on November 10, 2018. Coming to Travis County Exposition Center, Wanderlust’s unique triathlon consists of a five-kilometer run (or walk), a music-fueled, outdoor yoga class led by Chelsey Korus and a guided meditation led by Light Watkins. Mindful triathletes can also groove to the sounds of DJ Seriousblack, browse the marketplace of local craft and food vendors, and experience bonus fitness classes throughout the day.
Wanderlust will donate $1.08 from every ticket sold to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS with (RED).
