We are very happy to be writing about an opening right now, rather than a closing—and this is a great new addition to the city. It’s finally the “opening” of Austin’s newest brewpub. Hold Out Brewing is in old west Austin, across the courtyard from Better Half Coffee and Cocktails and they are here to give you a pandemic pick-me-up.
They’ll have burgers, dogs, and cans of beer and gloved service with a smile (behind a mask). No muss, no fuss. Just another great excuse to make a beer run!
When: Open for to-go only, Thursday–Sunday, noon-8 p.m.

In her previous life, Kristy was an uninspired realtor who was feeling a little bit bored with her day to day. So on January 1, 2010, she made a New Year’s resolution to write about one thing to do each day in her beloved city of Austin, Texas. And thus, 365 Things Austin was born.
