There are plenty of Austin hotels that allow non-guests to live a little  and make a splash just for the day. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite day pass options starting as low at $10, so you can feel fancy even when you’re ballin’ on a budget!

Fairmont Austin

This spacious rooftop pool at The Fairmont offers resort-style amenities with a sophisticated city center backdrop. The expansive pool and whirlpool, situated on the 7th floor of the luxury hotel, present the perfect summer retreat. Day passes are available for outside guests to purchase Monday through Thursday. Adult passes are $40, and children are $25.

The LINE Austin

Enjoy a cocktail and a swim with the best vista in town at the LINE Austin’s lakeside salt water infinity pool. Overlooking the Congress Avenue Bridge, Lady Bird Lake and the lush Austin skyline, it’s a spot that will make you forget you’re in the heart of the city. The pool is reserved for hotel guest use only on weekends, with guest passes available for purchase on weekdays. Adult passes are $40, and children are $25.

East Austin Hotel

Deep in the heart of the East Side, the East Austin Hotel welcomes day travelers looking for an authentic Austin experience. Sip your favorite handcrafted cocktail poolside and soak up the warm Austin sun. Guest passes are $30 for adults and free for children.

Hotel Ella

Located in downtown Austin and walking distance to the University of Texas campus, Hotel Ella is a stylish boutique hotel housed in the historic Goodall Wooten House. Their lavish pool and courtyard are lined with cabanas and are opened for guests outside of the hotel Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pool passes are $30 and can be reserved up to one week in advance by emailing or calling 512-495-1800.

Austin Motel

Austin Motel’s iconic kidney-shaped pool is now open for reservations Friday through Sunday from 12 – 8 p.m. Reservations are $40 a person for a two hour block and are available for parties up to 5.

South Congress Hotel

The pool at South Congress Hotel is the perfect combo of chic and simple. Snack on the fresh, farm-to-table fare of Café No Sé while you lounge. Non-hotel guests can access the pool with daily passes for $40, Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. To book your pool day, call 512-920-6405 or email your name and requested date and time.

The Westin Austin Downtown

The Westin Austin Downtown pool at Azul Rooftop is an upscale retreat for guests featuring comfortable loungers, skyline views, and a thirst-quenching cocktail menu! Azul Rooftop offers a lively day time pool scene which turns to an upscale rooftop lounge at sunset. Passes start at $30.

JW Marriot Austin

Far away from the hustle and bustle of Congress Avenue, perched on the 5th floor of the JW Marriot Austin, is Edge Pool. Featuring four luxury cabanas, a seasonally heated pool, and resort-style amenities, guests can enjoy poolside drinks and a menu of delicious small bites. Adult day passes start at $40.

Hotel Van Zandt

Soak up the sun or breathtaking views of Lady Bird lake while relaxing poolside at Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt. With a refined design, luxurious lounge chairs, and premium cabanas, the Kimpton is an ideal daytime retreat. Day passes start at $38 for adults and $15 for children.

W Austin

Cool off at WET, W Austin’s rooftop pool. Relax in designer chaise lounges or chill with friends in a private cabana. At night, dial it down a notch and cozy up in front of our fireplace. While you’re up there, enjoy scenic views of Downtown Austin. Day passes start at $10 on weekdays and $20 on weekends.

Omni Austin Downtown

Enjoy gorgeous views of downtown Austin from the deck of Omni Austin’s rooftop swimming pool. Unwind and sip on a refreshing beverage from the pool bar. Day passes start at $25 for adults and $12 for children.
