This Is Now, the new exhibit at West Chelsea Contemporary, opens today and features works by some very big-name artists. Head to the gallery, which has been an awesome addition to the city, for a rare opportunity to see, learn about, and collect internationally recognized artists from Yayoi Kusama and Gil Bruvel to Salvador Dalí, Robert Indiana, and more—artists rarely seen in the U.S. outside of New York and LA—as well as local contemporary players vital to Texas’ art scene.
Curated from a collection of over 700 works that span the past six decades, This Is Now features over 40 artists across a range of disciplines. The 7,800-square-foot space has been transformed into a vibrant world of color, light, and reflection.
In order to maintain a safe experience for all, visitors can expect required face coverings at all times in the space, reminders for social distancing, routine cleanings of the entire gallery, and close monitoring of entrances and exits.
