A John Waters Christmas At Paramount Theater

John Waters, the “people’s pervert” or “queer Confucius” as the press recently called him, is back after a two-year home detention in Baltimore to hit the road again for his 25th Annual Xmas Tour. Bad little boys and girls and everybody in between and beyond, will be thrilled to take a sleigh-ride-of-sleaze down the slopes of good taste and over the ski jump of religious beliefs to a snow drift of candy cane anarchy.


December 7th

Punch Lines: Comedy Battle

Punch Lines at The Creek & The Cave brings a night full of hilarious, action packed competition. The winning team of comics will be featured on “Late Night Laughs”! Show is from 7 – 9 p.m. and tickets are $10.

Exploraphoria with Garrett Buss

Weird, wacky, and altogether out there, world of Exploraphoria is back every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 9:30 p.m. Join your host Garrett Buss and his carefully curated showcase of experimental comedy acts in Fallout’s downtown basement theater. It will be an experience unlike any other.

22 & Good 4 U: A Taylor Swift Vs. Olivia Rodrigo Night

The Precious Present – In Love And Light Opening Day

Austin’s acclaimed dance company Tapestry returns to the stage with the
premiere of The Precious Present – In Love & Light, at the Long Center’s Rollins Theatre.

Santa’s Jingle Bell 5K And Kids K

Santa’s Jingle Bell Run is a 5K event that runs through Downtown San Marcos and the Historic District. The race will start and finish at the San Marcos Plaza Park at Hutchison & CM Allen. Christmas music will be enjoyed along the 5K route. The 1K kids’ route runs through the Sights and Sounds Festival! Takes place from 9 – 11 a.m.

Drag Brunch At The Cavalier

The Cavalier Queers are back! Join Rhonda Jewels & Mandy Quinn for The Cavalier’s Second Sunday Drag Brunch every month. First come, first served. No reservations.

Festive Fest

Festive Fest is a winter holiday hodgepodge of traditions from across the world. Taking place from 2 –  10 p.m. at Mohawk Austin, Festive Fest features a stellar lineup of Austin bands and artists that highlight women and LGBTQIA+ musicians who have come together to raise money for Girls Rock Austin’s Unlimited Possibilities Scholarship Fund and Operation Lunch Box Initiative.

Sunset Boat Cruise With Still Austin

The Sunset Boat Cruise with Still Austin will scream local Austin, bringing light to iconic and/or lesser-known Austin businesses. This 21+ event will feature complimentary drinks from Still Austin Whiskey Co. with ticket purchase. Cocktails Masterclass At Fareground

Celebrate the season with Fareground’s interactive cocktail masterclass. You’ll work from your own station at fully private Bar Ellis, with all the spirits, bar tools and accoutrements to make 3 ginger-based cocktails and then apply your techniques for a fun cocktail contest. The experience includes a welcome drink, bites, four full sized cocktails, recipe cards and takeaways and a special prize for the winner.

Technicolor Nights

Charlie Crockett At ACL Live
