Blue Genie Art Bazaar is back for its 20th year in Austin and adapting its traditional holiday shopping experience to keep everyone safe and merry. Along with expanding its run by two additional weeks, you can shop the bazaar online and in-person this year!

Founded in 2001 by four local artists, the bazaar has grown from a small, eclectic East Austin pop-up store to an annual, family-friendly event featuring the work of more than 200 artisans. It’s always been the place to find the hand-crafted items, jewelry, home decor, clothing, and fine art pieces that make unforgettable presents.

New in 2020, shoppers are encouraged to make reservations online in advance for timed-entry tickets. Walk-ins are also welcome, but guests may have to wait outside if the store is at capacity.

Earlier this year, BGAB introduced its online store featuring the work of more than 100 regional artists with more added regularly. Online shoppers can either pick up their items in store or have them shipped anywhere in the U.S. The bazaar has also introduced a Personal Shopper program along with virtual shopping for groups or individuals; both are now available through the BGAB website.

And of course, masks are required to enter the building and guests are encouraged to respect social distancing. Cleanliness measures such as hand sanitizer, handwashing stations, and cashless transactions will all be available.

Admission and parking are both free!
