We’re thankful for the extended spring weather we got this year, but man, the quick transition to 100+ degree days really pulled the rug out from under us. We always love the pig roast at Hotel Vegas on Saturday but, again, it’s crazy hot out there so we have a ton of indoor recs below. And if you’d like to hear dad jokes about “feeling like a roasted pig,” be sure to attend our top pick for Sunday.

FRIDAY

We’re not in the mood for doing anything outdoors unless there’s water involved, and the Kendra Scott Summer Series at the Hotel Zaza Pool fits that bill. Expect sips, snacks, and live music (plus shopping of course). It’s FREE to attend with RSVP.

SATURDAY

Pinballz Kingdom’s (Buda Location) Summer Brewfest is happening on Saturday. If you’ve never been to the iconic arcade’s south location, it’s one of our favorite ways to spend a day/evening indoors. They’ll have 25+ breweries participating, giveaways, samples, and more. Tickets are $10 and available online.

SUNDAY

Honor Dad with an evening under the stars at Zilker Hillside Theatre. Austin Symphonic Band will be performing a special Father’s Day Concert that’s free and open to the public. Bring folding chairs, blankets, and drinks/snacks. Program and more details are available on the ASB website. Plunge yourself into Barton Springs first; it will help you stay cool during the performance.
