America’s beloved icon Willie Nelson is bringing a star-studded lineup to the new Q2 Stadium on Monday, July 4th for the Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic! The event will feature Willie Nelson & Family, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Tyler Childers, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Charley Crockett, Allison Russell, Particle Kid, Steve Earle & the Dukes, and Asleep at the Wheel. In addition to great live music across two stages, fans can expect delicious food, drinks, and post-show fireworks to celebrate the national holiday. Black Sheep Corndog Eating Contest

Black Sheep Lodge is hosting their 12th Annual Corndog Eating Contest at 2 p.m. on Monday, the 4th. You’ll have eight minutes to eat as many corndogs as you can! The winner will receive a $250 cash prize. Sign up by emailing events@blacksheeplodge.com.

Austin Symphony July 4th Concert

H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks is back! Spend this Independence Day with your family and friends, decked out in red, white and blue. Head down to Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores) this July 4th for an amazing event complete with a fireworks display over the city skyline backed by symphonic patriotic classics. The festivities begin at 8 p.m. with Master of Ceremonies welcoming dignitaries and special guest. Concert begins at 8:30 p.m., followed by “mile-high” fireworks. The event is free and open to the public.


Independence Day Garden BBQ at Lutie’s 

Lutie’s Garden Restaurant is excited to announce its first ever Independence Day Garden BBQ in collaboration with “new-school bbq” spot LeRoy and Lewis on Sunday, July 3 at the sunken gardens at Commodore Perry Estate. Food will be accompanied by brews and giant lawn games in the sunken gardens. At 9 p.m., Lutie’s transitions to an after hours cocktail party for the evening, with specialty cocktails at the bar and an all-vinyl DJ set by Clemente Castillo. Tickets are $100 per person and are now available online. Tickets include food and two drink tickets, along with access to all activities during the celebration.


BBQ Pool Party at Carpenter Hotel

On Sunday, July 3rd Carpenter Hotel is kicking summer off old school, providing a classic backyard BBQ in celebration of July 4th weekend with grilled eats from Carpenters Hall, pool access, live entertainment courtesy of the multi-genre artist, Aaron Stephens, and endless high summer spirits. Join Texas Ski Ranch for their first annual Poiesis Art Show! They’ve partnered up with Texas Inked to bring you the best talent from across Texas and the US. Fourth of July at Omni Barton Creek

Join Omni Barton Creek on their resort lawn for live music by Austin musician David Ramirez followed by a stunning fireworks display. TLC is celebrating the 4th with festive Bomb Pop Margs all day on Monday! Enjoy their famous frozen margs complete with a Bomb Pop to make your celebrations extra sweet. TLC’s Bomb Pop Frozen Margs will be available on Monday for $10.


Independence Day Celebration at Dreamland

Central Texans looking to celebrate this weekend in the Texas Hill Country can catch spectacular live music and a fireworks show on Saturday, July 2nd at Dreamland in Dripping Springs. The 86-acre property will have plenty of family fun throughout the day with a splash pad and playscape for kids, along with jumbo jenga, cornhole, an art walk and more. Food and drink specials will also be available all day. General admission tickets for the Independence Day celebration are $25. VIP tickets are $100 and include drinks, private backstage viewing and mini golf.
