Austin Symphony July 4th Concert and Fireworks at the Long Center

Spend this Independence Day with your family and friends at the Long Center with a concert from the Austin Symphony along with the “mile-high” firework show seen all across Austin. The concert begins at 8:30 p.m. and is followed up with the firework show. The event is free and open to the public.


Fireworks on Lake Austin and Lake Travis with Float On 

Float On Boat Rentals is celebrating Independence Day with a special set of boats on both Lake Austin and Lake Travis that will take you out to the perfect spot on the water to catch the firework festivities. If you’re wanting to experience the show on Lake Austin, you’ll go out the night of July 3rd, while the Lake Travis boats will take you out on the night of the 4th. Firework Show and Paddling on Lady Bird Lake with Rowing Dock

Join Rowing Dock for the much-anticipated July 4th Concert and Fireworks Show! The best part? You can experience all the magic from the comfort of a stand up paddle board, kayak, or canoe. From the dazzling array of lights to the melodies of the Austin Symphony, this experience is like no other. Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic

Willie Nelson’s Annual 4th of July Picnic is back! Willie created this annual event in 1972, and is bringing a star-studded lineup to the Q2 Stadium. The event will feature Willie Nelson & Family, Tyler Childers, Dwight Yoakam, Shakey Graves, Shane Smith & The Saints, Sierra Ferrell, and more. In addition to great live music across two stages, fans can expect delicious food, drinks, and post-show fireworks to celebrate the national holiday. Hill Country Galleria’s Independence Day Celebration

Watch the Hill Country Galleria light up the sky during their family-friendly July 4th Celebration. The community event is free, open to the public and will feature fair rides, water games, complimentary face painting, Vista Brewing pop-up, a full lineup of live music at the Central Plaza pavilion, street shopping with over 40+ vendors, festival food, a firework show, and more. The celebration will take place from 4-10 p.m.

Grill and Chill for America: 4th of July Celebration

Declare your independence this 4th of July when you join Hotel Magdalena at their Grill and Chill for America Celebration. Red, White, & Blue Weekend at W Hotel 

Head to the W Hotel for their Red, White, & Blue Weekend Party, a three-day pool party to celebrate Independence Day. From July 2nd-4th, each day is dedicated to wearing a different color and will include live DJs, drink specials, rooftop pool activations, elevated bites and more. Hawk Dog – Hot Dog Eating Contest at Mohawk

Kick off your 4th of July at Hawk Dog – a good ol’ fashioned hot dog eating contest and concert at Mohawk! Die Spitz and Party Van hit the main stage and between sets contestants will see who can guzzle the most glizzys. Hot dog eating contest winner will receive the Mohawk Golden Ticket to get you and friend into any show for a year and more.  Tickets are $10.


Black Sheep Corn Dog Eating Contest

Black Sheep Lodge is hosting their 13th Annual Corndog Eating Contest at 2 p.m. on Monday, the 4th. You’ll have eight minutes to eat as many corndogs as you can! The winner will receive a $250 cash prize. Sign up by emailing events@blacksheeplodge.com.


Fireworks Outside of Austin

Post-Game Fireworks at The Round Rock Express

Celebrate the 4th of July with America’s favorite past time followed with a festive firework show. The Round Rock Express is taking on the Sugar Land Space Cowboys on the 4th with a special firework show post-game. Get tickets here.


Cedar Park July 4th Celebration 

The city of Cedar Park is throwing a 4th of July Celebration at Milburn Park complete with a firework show at the end of the night. There will be live music, carnival rides, inflatables, concessions, fireworks, and a movie in the park immediately following the fireworks show. Fireworks kick off at 9:30 p.m. It’s free and open to the public.


Round Rock 4th of July Parade and Fireworks

The City of Round Rock is celebrating Independence Day with free, patriotic festivities taking place all day including a parade and festival with carnival rides, music, and fireworks.


Fireworks in Hutto

Catch a firework show out in Hutto, Texas along with an evening filled with family-friendly activities and live music. Festivities will run from 5-9 p.m.


City of Kyle Independence Day Fireworks

Join the City of Kyle in celebrating the Fourth of July with the Independence Day Celebration Fireworks Show. This family-friendly celebration will feature well-known Austin cover band, The Grooves, from 5:30-9 p.m. and a community countdown culminating with a stunning 20-minute fireworks show.


July 4 Celebration at San Gabriel Park in Georgetown

The City of Georgetown is holding their 40th Annual 4th of July Celebration complete with live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors including a beer and wine vendor, a petting zoo, classic and antique cars, games, rides for children and adults, and a firework show at 9:30 p.m.
