Valentine’s Art for Parent & Child

Bring your son or daughter to Cordovan Art School for a Valentine’s Day to remember! Professional artists will guide you and your child through a step-by-step painting. They’ll provide treats and snacks as well as a free photo booth to capture the moment. No artistic experience necessary. $50 per couple. Love Letters: DIY Card Making Drive

February 9; 12-3 p.m.
The Austin Film Society is calling on Austinites to help create homemade Valentine’s cards for Meals on Wheels. Spread the love this Sunday, February 9, from 12-3 p.m. at Motion Media Arts Center. Help adults feel connected to and cared for by their community. Cards will be delivered by Meals on Wheels on February 14. MMAC will be providing tunes, sips, treats and a ton of art supplies! Participants are encouraged to bring any card making supplies they are open to sharing. This event is free, open to the public and family friendly.

Valentine’s Puppet Show and Card Making at Terra Toys

Valentine Playtime at Round Rock Public Library

February 10-14, various dates and times
Bring your little sweeties to a playtime featuring Valentine-themed activities. This free, drop-in activity is best enjoyed by ages 18 months and older. Children can participate in a valentine exchange. Simply provide 10 valentines and/or individually shareable gifts for your child to distribute to other children. As participants leave, they can take home a fun bag of valentines from other Library friends. More information here.

Drop in and craft it up at the University Hills Branch. They’ll have paper crafts, easy sewing and more fun projects for the whole family. They provide the supplies; you provide the creativity. Recommended ages 9-12. More information here.

Sensory-Friendly Valentine’s Party

February 13; 5-7 p.m.
Join the staff from Centria Autism for a fun evening of sensory-friendly play at We Rock The Spectrum Gym. This event will feature caring and specially-trained staff to maximize fun for sensory sensitive customers. Party-goers will receive a pizza dinner (gluten-free option available) and a Valentine’s dessert, open gym play, and a special Valentine craft.
