Clean Lady Bird Lake
6/14
Join Keep Austin Beautiful for the first summer cleanup of Lady Bird Lake this year! Cleanups of the lake happen every other month throughout the year and offer a wide range of locations to clean. Volunteers can clean the lake from the shoreline or the water. Kayaks and standup paddleboards are provided at some on-the-water sites, while other sites allow you to bring your own boat!
All volunteers are rewarded for their hard work with a gift certificate to Whole Earth Provisions, and the person who finds the Most Unusual Item at each cleanup site will win an additional prize.
On-the-water volunteers should be 16 or older and be comfortable around water. Volunteers under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers MUST pre-register for this event.
