Young Texans Against Cancer (YTAC) is essentially a philanthropic fundraising group focused on granting money to different local organizations that offer Cancer-care related services. YTAC is really a pretty grass-roots, local organization composed entirely of volunteers and as such specifically focus on raising funds and granting those funds to local Cancer-care related groups where they can see first-hand impacts of the money granted. So for example some of their donors are Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center, Wonders & Worries, Testicular Cancer Foundation, Your Ride is Here and Caporal Assistance Network (CAN). One of their biggest fundraisers for the year is our Spice for Life Chili Cook-off! It’s a great event with about 25 chili teams and last year we had over 500 attendees which is expected to go up this year!
