The Spark is a play about coming to terms with life after being diagnosed with bipolar. We also address the social understanding of what having a mental illness means. The goal we have set for ourselves is to help continue the dialogue of mental illness that Lucky Chaos has opened in the past. We are using a theatrical environment to display a very honest and personal account of living with bipolar. We explore the hardships of having a mental illness. We also bring to attention the positive qualities that have a strong correlation with mental illness. Lucky Chaos continues to try to paint another face of mental illness that so many people, especially those that suffer, forget we have.
