ABOUT AMADEO’S ARMY:
Amadeo’s Army was created 7 years ago when Amadeo Andrade was diagnosed with Becker Muscular Dystrophy. It is an army of family, friends, and community who support Amadeo and others suffering with MD. Every year, Amadeo’s Army raises money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) leading up to the annual fundraising event Muscle Walk on April 30. Money raised by Amadeo’s Army not only goes to research all 94 neuromuscular diseases that MDA helps fund, but also helps local families send their kids to summer camp, pay for annual checkups, fund support groups, and cover the costs of needed hardware support.
