1. Wheels To Wurstfest
What: Wurstfest was voted the number two Oktoberfest in the country by USA Today. This “10-Day Salute To Sausage” in New Braunfels is one of our favorite festivals of the year. With sausage, beer, polka and potato pancakes as far as the eye can see, it’s a Bavarian wonderland that’s not to be missed.
By offering round trip transportation all ten days of the fest again we’re making getting to New Braunfels easier than fitting into last years lederhosen. Why risk the hour drive when you can take our Wheels to Wurstfest?

2. Super Soul Sunday at Icenhauer’s
What: In a city where sunshine, tasty cocktails and great music are all abundant, there is simply only one place in Austin to go…..Super Soul Sunday at Icenhauer’s!

3. Outdoor Voices Dog Jog
What: Austin based activewear brand Outdoor Voices is hosting the biggest Dog Jog yet in Austin, Texas. Join us November 19th at Lions Municipal Golf Course for a dog-friendly 5K loop and tailgate. All participating Dog Joggers will receive an event tee for humans and bandana for pups. A portion of ticket sales go to Austin Pets Alive.

4. 2017 Texas Book Festival
What: The 2017 Texas Book Festival will be held November 4-5, 2017. The Festival runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Texas Book Festival Weekend is free and open to the public and takes place in Austin, Texas, at the State Capitol and surrounding grounds.

5. Austin Empty Bowl Project
What: Potters from all over Central Texas donate bowls of all sizes, shapes, and colors. Thirty restaurants and bakeries donate delicious soups and breads, while musicians donate their time and talent to entertain us. Then, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, friends and families come together to purchase a bowl for $20, have it filled with soup, and enjoy the music. The bowl is yours to keep, as a reminder of those whose bowls are empty. The proceeds go to the Central Texas Food Bank to help sponsor the Kids Cafe Program and Meals on Wheels Central Texas’ Meals for Kids. Kids Cafe and Meals for Kids provide a safe, nurturing place where children receive a hot, nutritious dinner, as well as help with homework.

6. 2nd Annual Mac & Cheese Festival
What: The distinctively American, incredibly versatile and unapologetically cheesiest dish in Austin is has returned for the mother of all food festivals. A childhood favorite that only continues to grow in complexity and admiration throughout one’s life, Mac & Cheese is the reigning heavyweight champion of savory indulgence – and we’re celebrating it with the 2nd annual MAC & CHEESE FESTIVAL!
Austin Food Magazine presents the return and celebration of America’s favorite side dish, at the 2nd annual Austin Mac & Cheese Festival, November 19th where you’ll see some of Austin’s best chefs and eateries battle it out to see who truly has the best mac & cheese in the city. Attendees will have the chance to vote on their favorite selections in the ultimate Mac & Cheese showdown!

7. Chuy’s Giving Day Parade
What: enefiting Operation Blue Santa so Bring New, Unwrapped Toys to Donate! At a designated time during the Parade Procession, all units will stop to collect the toys. Santa’s Helpers will line the parade route and help spectators give their toy. All toys will be distributed by the Operation Blue Santa Program to another child just in time for the holidays.

8. East Austin Studio Tour
What: Present Company’s 4th annual Shakespeare at the Market, ROMEO & JULIET, runs October 13th – 29th on the rooftop of the downtown Austin flagship Whole Foods Market.

9. Creek Show 2017
What: Creek Show 2017 returns November 10-18 for nine nights of free light-based, site-specific art installations along Waller Creek. Stroll along the creek, between 5th and 8th Streets, while taking in six new illuminating works of light-based art. This free event will captivate visitors through visionary art that illustrates the intersection of natural environment, innovative design, and urban life.

10. Yoga With Goats Overlooking Lake Travis
What: There will be 2 classes scheduled, one at 3 pm and one at 4 pm. At the end of each class, participants over the age of 21 will be given their choice of one complimentary adult beverage (beer or wine) care of our wonderful hosts with the option to purchase more if you choose at Happy Hour pricing! There will also be some snacks as you’re sure to work up an appetite laughing and playing with the goats! Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for those under 21 and any children participating.
