Soar into spring at the 93rd ABC Kite Fest, one of Austin’s longest-running traditions! You can take the kids outside and enjoy a day filled with kite making, flying, and gazing at Zilker Park! It’s free and they have activities for all ages.

Founded as a simple kite contest in 1929 by The Exchange Club of Austin, Austin’s annual kite festival was designed to foster creativity in children. It’s grown into an iconic event that Austinites look forward to every year.
