Bachelor & Bachelorette Party Destinations
If you’re over the Vegas, Miami, LA, NYC thing there are a few other options we like.
Pro Tip: Get a credit card that you can put all of the wedding costs on (and pay off of course), so you can get points to use toward a honeymoon. We love the Southwest Credit Card since that airline tends to have more nonstop flights out of the Austin Airport. Use this link to get an extra 40,000 points when you sign up!
Tulum (cheap flights to Cancun, very vibey) – Dinner at Hartwood or Rosa Negra, Gitano for a nightcap, rent a Catamaran or take a dip in one of the local Cenotes (Cenote Cristal or Casa Tortuga), lunch or brunch at Ziggy’s, Playa Papaya Project, or Posada Margherita.
Scottsdale (still ritzy feeling) – Big club scene including The W Pool Party, hike Camelback Mountain (do the Cholla trail), grab a drink at Scapegoat, and a bite at Mission Old Town.
Napa/Sonoma (great for ladies) – Mumm Napa is perfect for bubbles, Scribe has an amazing food and wine pairing, and Girl and the Fig for dinner! We recommend staying in Sonoma. Sonoma square is cute and everything is a bit closer, keep in mind pretty much everything in the Napa Valley area is 20-40 minutes away so be aware when planning your itinerary.
Lake Tahoe (easy flight to Reno) – North Lake Tahoe has more things to do, try Garwoods for lunch or dinner and get the Wet Woody drink. Rent a boat and go out on the lake, and try a hike!
Hamptons (if you want to be super boujee) – Stay in Montauk and hit up Wolferr Winery in East Hampton on your drive in. Surf Lodge Montauk for a day party, lunch at Duryea’s Lobster Deck (I have never seen so many beautiful people and plastic surgery in one place, it was also delicious). For a more chill vibe go to Amagansett Square—it is the cutest town ever, and lastly grab at least one meal at Gurney’s.
Sedona (for a more secluded, outdoorsy feel) – Check out the Pink Jeep Tours and go to Antelope canyon!
Malibu (easy flight to LA but feels a little more exclusive) – Go on a Malibu Wine Safari, and definitely schedule a Giraffe Safari Tour to visit Stanley the Giraffe. And for all the Vanderpump fans, Sur!
Montreal (great for guys) – If the timing works out, go to Grand Prix in mid June 2020!
Carmel/Big Sur – Yoga on the beach, Folktale Winery & Vineyard, Scheid Tasting Room, and definitely hit up CVAC Refuge —they have cold plunge pools, hot tubs, and steam rooms and you go back and forth between them all for total detoxification ($40).
Palm Springs – Go to the beautiful Parker Hotel, ride up the Aerial Tram to see the whole city, Cheekys for brunch and bacon flights, Workshop for a nice dinner, all the hotels have great pool parties, Toucans Tiki Lounge for a crazy night club (drag shows), and potentially do a night in Ojai or Joshua Tree!
