Spring has almost sprung here in Central Texas, which makes it the perfect time to be outside! Why not treat the family to a film under the stars? Re-live your childhood memories or make new ones with your family. The Austin area is home to several drive-in theaters. Below are some of our favorites.

Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In – Austin and Round Rock

This boutique drive-in prides itself on its smaller size. With 35 car slots available per night, the ambiance is more exclusive and intimate. The theater is located in the heart of Austin at Mueller II, and offers four incredible drive-in experiences. The Main Screen has room for 28 cars, The Side Show fits eight cars, The Forest Amphitheater seats 50 pedestrians, and their newest addition, Drive-In Alley, has room for 14 cars and offers a widescreen 4K, silent drive-in cinema experience. The drive-in shows childhood favorites, drive-in classics, indie films, art house, Cult, and Gen X/Y pop culture faves. They’re available for private events and birthday parties too. Walk-ins are $8 and car slot prices go up from there. Movie theater concessions are available, but attendees can bring in snacks and beverages.
