Duck Derby

The most quacktastic event of the summer returns to Downtown Austin!

Austin Sonic Drive-Ins presents Duck Derby to benefit the Austin Boys and Girls Club Foundation. Duck fanatics can adopt their very own rubber ducks to race down the serene downtown river for a chance to win a variety of spectacular prizes!

In addition to the duck race, the event will also feature:

• Music
• Games
• Food trucks
• Photo ops with the Duck Derby’s official mascot, Derby Duck
• The“Best Dressed Super Sonic Duck” tent to vote on their favorite costume-clad rubber duckies

Adoptees can complete an online adoption form and follow the simple race-day instructions. The winning ducks will be announced the day of the race. Ducks can also be adopted at a variety of local appearances featuring Derby Duck offering on-the-spot adoptions. Locations include:

July 13: 3 – 4 pm @ Sonic Drive-In – 1637 Wells Branch Parkway

July 22: 9 – 10 am @ Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – 13376 N US Hwy 183, Suite 800

July 22: 6-  8 pm @ Aaron Watson/Jack Ingram Concert at Nutty Brown Café Concert (must have tickets to attend)

8/4: 6 – 8 pm @ Odd Duck – 1201 S. Lamar (tentative)
