Get ready for a good time at Eeyore’s 57th Annual Birthday Party! This festival is basically the epicenter of the Keep Austin Weird movement. In fact, weird doesn’t even begin to describe this delightful event. Picture hundreds of people in costume dancing, sitting in drum circles, and running around maypoles to celebrate the fictional birthday of a fictional donkey.

This free celebration lasts all day long at Pease District Park and benefits nonprofit groups in Austin! Note that there is really no parking for this one! Use their free shuttle, public transportation, bike, or walk.

When: Saturday, April 30th

Time: 11 a.m. until dusk

Location:
1100 Kingsbury St.
Austin, TX 78703

In her previous life, Kristy was an uninspired realtor who was feeling a little bit bored with her day to day. So on January 1, 2010, she made a New Year’s resolution to write about one thing to do each day in her beloved city of Austin, Texas. And thus, 365 Things Austin was born.
