0.5K Micro Marathon

Circle Brewing Co. is welcoming back the 0.5K for the 4th year in a row. Whether you’re a beer fan, a running fan, or both, the 0.5K has proven to be an event that Austinites don’t want to miss! We’ve teamed up with the American Heart Association to support their mission to improve the lives of all Americans, envisioning a world free of heart disease and stroke.
If your metrics conversions aren’t firing on all cylinders, a 0.5K is 1,640 feet. This micro marathon race takes place at the brewery, in our oversized parking lot. All runners are divided into heats, and each runner is given 2 pints of beer with a fill line to hold while running. Spill below the line during your run and you’re disqualified! Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each heat, with a final heat to find the fastest and most careful runner of the day.
