2nd Street District’s Holiday Window Walk

Starting November 23, visitors can watch the storefronts of 2ND Street District as businesses transform into festive holiday scenes during the eighth annual Holiday Window Walk. St. Edward’s University students will put their design skills to the test for their chance to win $6,500 worth of scholarships on behalf of the 2ND Street District. Participating stores include Hemline, League of Rebels, Austin Rocks, Toy Joy, Authentic Smiles, Austin General Store, and Luxe Apothetique.
Whether heading to 2SD for delicious eats or holiday shopping on Small Business Saturday on November 24 and beyond, visitors can enjoy the festive installations, all while supporting the Austin community. The public can cast their vote on the 2ND Street District Facebook page though December 7 at midnight for which participant they think deserves a scholarship for the best holiday window display. Each vote will also be entered to win a W Austin prize pack.
First place will receive a $3,000 scholarship, $2,000 for second place, $1,000 for first place, and $500 for the public vote. The Holiday Window Walk winners will be announced at the Santa Lounge and Market event on Saturday, December 8 at W Austin.
