On May 24-27, 2018 in Austin, Texas, Hot Luck: Live Food & Music will return to honor the soul, sweat and DIY diversity of the food and music world. It’s the perfect imperfection of grandma’s gumbo and pawpaw’s BBQ — but delivered by new interpretations from the next generation.

Hot Luck is inspired by friendly tailgates, family reunions, get togethers and potlucks of our past and present — with a few differences. It is a fun, chef-driven, celebration of fire, food, music, and camaraderie. And surprises, lots of fun surprises.
An a la carte eat-with-your-fingers picnic and party experience that highlights open-pit feats of culinary know how, and music in your ears that is as thoughtfully created as the food on your plate. Come hungry, thirsty, and bring your dancin boots.
Hot Luck is proud to donate a portion of the festival’s proceeds to The SAFE Alliance. The SAFE Alliance is a merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, both long-standing and respected human service agencies in Austin serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence.
