Nigerian artist Iyanya, signed to Don Jazzy’s label Mavin Records, rose to fame after winning MTN’s Project Fame West Africa, and is best known for his hit single, “Kukere.” Jeff Akoh made his name as the youngest winner of Project Fame West Africa and is widely considered to be Nigeria’s next breakout musician. Nigerian-British star Bisola Aiyeola is a versatile entertainer and is most famous for being first runner up in Big Brother Naija, although she also works as a singer, MC, and presenter. Chris Akinyemi is a Nigerian-American singer/songwriter, famous for soulful singles like “Radio” and “Teenage Love,” both of which have been featured on programs like MTV and VH1. Bilingual Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has proven himself an East African force to be reckoned with, having won the Channel O Emcee Africa competition at 19 and was named Kenyan Music Ambassador in 2014.
