(AUSTIN, Texas) – AIA Austin will host its fourth Design Talk of the year with Donna Carter, FAIA, principal at Carter Design Associates at the George Washington Carver Museum on September 13; lunch will be served. Carter designed the 32,680 square-foot cultural center in 2005. Through the preservation and exhibition of African American culture, history, and aesthetic expression, the Carver Museum works to create a space where the global contributions of all Black people are celebrated.
