ALL OUT 2017 at the Violet Crown Trail

REI wants to help you meet your outdoor goals in 2017, whether it be learning how to mountain bike, completing a 5k trail run, or something as simple as taking a camp cooking class. The outdoors has something for everyone. Let’s go ALL OUT together! As we commit to getting outside every day in 2017, you’re invited to join REI on Saturday, Jan. 28 for a day of outdoor events and REI Outdoor School classes. Join us at the Violet Crown Trail-Hwy 290 entrance for classes on Trailside Bike Repair (10am) and Bikepacking Basics (12pm), or attend one of our 5k Trail Runs (starting at 11am and 1pm). While you’re there, meet the masterminds behind the Violet Crown Trail: the amazing folks from Hill Country Conservancy and Texas Conservation Corps. Or get fitted for boots by a KEEN rep and try out their shoes on the trail. The REI Outdoor School will lead two hikes on the VCT starting at 10am and 1pm – registration required, register at www.REI.com/learn. Join us for one ALL OUT activity or all of them! Let’s #OptOutside together, and kick off 2017 in the right direction.
