Apple Bomb Jump Competition with The ABGB
Sep 4, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Argus Cidery Celebrates the Austin Beer Garden Brewery Co.’s Fourth Anniversary with an “Apple Bomb Jump” Competition at Barton Springs Pool
WHO: Argus Cidery and The ABGB
WHAT: The ABGB invited Argus to be a part of its epic Fourth Anniversary Party by kicking off the day with an “Apple Bomb Jump” competition (named affectionately after Argus Cidery’s newest cider) at Barton Springs Pool on Labor Day, beginning at 11 a.m. sharp. Everyone over 21 is encouraged to invent their take on the Apple Bomb off the Barton Springs Pool diving board. Originality and splash will factor in to the winning jump, which will be judged by Argus Cidery owners Wes and Jeff Mickel, plus ABGB owner and brewer, Amos Lee.
The winner will receive a VIP Party for four at the Argus Tasting Room, where they will send the winner home with their arms full of cider. The first 50 divers will get special treatment at an Apple Bomb Party within a party later that day at The ABGB. Entrants must pay their on fee into Barton Springs, and will meet the crew at the diving board for a chance to make Apple Bomb history.
The Apple Bomb Jump competition is just the beginning of a celebratory day of events happening at The ABGB. Full list of events here: http://theabgb.com/event/4th-anniversary-party/.
