Austin Blues Dance Workshop Benefiting HOME

In partnership with the Ujima Blues Foundation and in conjunction with the Eastside Kings Festival, a special Austin Blues Dance Workshop will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 from 1-5 p.m. at Life in the City, 205 E. Monroe Street to benefit Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers (HOME). The workshop is open to the public with a suggested donation of $20 through the Ujima Blues Foundation (formerly Blues Geek). Space is limited and registration is recommended.

Proceeds from the dance workshop will be used to further HOME’s mission: providing housing-related assistance to Austin-area performers over 55, making it attainable for them to age in place and continue contributing to the live music scene that is the cultural bedrock of Austin.
