Austin Humane Society’s 15th Annual Puppy Bowl and Puppy Bowl LIVE

The 15th Annual Puppy Bowl, presented by Heritage Ranch by H-E-B, is back – and this year, it’s bigger and better than ever! In 2022, the Austin Humane Society and Yard Bar will team up at two locations for the biggest tailgate party, adoption event, and puppy player shenanigans that Puppy Bowl has ever seen.

February 12th will be an epic day of delicious tailgate bites, puppy races, Super Bowl puppy predictions, pet adoptions, and Puppy Bowl LIVE! The fun starts at 11 a.m. at Austin Humane Society with tailgating, adorable adoptables, vendors, great eats, and drinks by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Then we’ll take the party down the road to Yard Bar for Puppy Bowl LIVE! starting at 2:00 p.m.

Adoptions: If you’re looking to add a puppy to your team, we’ll have dozens of puppies available for adoption and – only during Puppy Bowl – adoption fees will be discounted to $200! Each puppy is current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped (older dogs and cats will also be available for adoption).

4th Annual Tailgate Food Competition: Local restaurants will go head-to-head for the 2022 title of Best Tailgating Treat. Purchase your tailgate tasting ticket for $10, enjoy your bites and cast your vote for the winner.

Vendors: Enjoy shopping with our local vendors and find special kid-friendly activities in our Kid Zone thanks to H-E-B and Firehouse Animal Health Center.

Puppy Bowl LIVE! at Yard Bar (6700 Burnet Road)

Join us for an incredible matchup of powerful pups taking to the gridiron in an epic display of uninhibited cuteness including a half-time show of adorable, adoptable AHS pups. Are we doing this?

Is your dog 35 lbs. or under and ready to rumble?! Get tickets for your dog to play in one-quarter of Puppy Bowl LIVE!. Your $30 Puppy Player donation secures a spot for your small dog in the big game plus enjoy a custom pup player card.

Grab a FREE Spectator Pass and watch our ferociously cute pups go head-to-head as celebrity “ruffarees” make the call on Puppy Bowl LIVE! penalties including ‘illegal watering’, ‘unnecessary cuteness’, ‘unpuppy-like conduct’, ‘ruffing the passer’, and ‘illegal sniffing in the back’.

Spectator Pass: FREE entry into the 15th Annual Puppy Bowl at both AHS and Yard Bar, access to meet adoptable animals, visit vendors, see the puppy predictions, purchase food and beverages, and watch Puppy Bowl LIVE! at Yard Bar.

Tailgate Judge: Eat your way through our 4th Annual Tailgate Food Competition and help us crown the winner! Enjoy bites from each vendor from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and cast your vote. We will announce the winner at 1:30 p.m.

Puppy Player entry at Yard Bar: Enter your own pup to play in the Puppy Bowl LIVE! at Yard Bar! Your pup must be under 35 lbs. to participate. Sign-up your pup with a $30 donation to AHS and enjoy a custom pup player card and a few more perks to be announced soon. Quarter 1 begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. (please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled quarter).
