AustinUP 55+ in ATX Job Fair

A free expo to match available job opportunities with workers who are 55 and older will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Westminster Senior Living in Austin. It will be the first in a series of job fairs AustinUP is planning for 2017 to help potential employees connect with employers located in or close to their neighborhoods.
Exhibitors will include employers looking for talented full- and part-time workers or contractors. Attendees will include older adults eager to talk to potential employers, as well as knowledgeable speakers who will give presentations during the event. For example, one of the breakout rooms at the event will focus on freelance work, offering tips and tools about networking.
