Beer By the Bay Music Festival at Horseshoe Bay Resort

If you’ve never been out to Horseshoe Bay, it’s a beautiful spot in the Texas Hill Country where the much-loved Horseshoe Bay Resort overlooks Lake LBJ. It’s just a little over an hour’s drive from Central Austin, but it feels like a world away. The resort will host its fifth annual Beer by the Bay Music Festival on July 28-29, and this is the perfect excuse to check out the area. Let’s squeeze one more mini vacay into this summer, shall we?

Performers will include Tracy Byrd, Pat Green, Roxy Roca, and more. Along with the music, the festival will feature microbrew offerings from around the Hill Country and an all-you-can-eat festival food menu ranging from Down South Pig Picking Tacos on Friday  to Fire and Ale Wings and Jamaican Jerk Center Chicken on Saturday that is included with each paid admission. Lastly, Hill Country wineries, William Chris Vineyards, and Lost Draw Cellars will pour their Texas-grown rosé wine.

One-night passes start at $89 and includes all that food, beer tasting tickets, nonalcoholic beverages, and admission to the music festival. A two-day pass will run you $179. If you want to go all-in on this festival, there’s overnight hotel packages with lots of extra perks, like going right to the elevator and immediately passing out in your bed.
