Brave the Shave is UT S.M.I.L.E.’s thirteenth annual shave event benefiting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The foundation donates funds to researchers in the field of pediatric oncology so they can continue working on the cure for childhood cancer. On March 22nd, 2024, we will host the event at Gregory Gym Plaza on UT campus. Those who volunteer to be a shavee raise money and then, beginning at 4:30 pm, will line up to shave their heads in solidarity for those still fighting cancer. By shaving, they will let the world know that bald is beautiful! The event will have a fair atmosphere with games and prizes to emphasize that we are celebrating the strength of these children.
