Buda Weiner Dog Races

Okay, okay….I realize that today’s event is a little South of Austin’s city limits but it is worth the trip.
It is exactly what the title suggests, wiener dog races. You’re probably wondering how exactly it all goes down. Imagine a track meet but for dogs. It’s pretty entertaining and the money goes to a good cause. They have some booths set up where you can grab snacks. I would wear a hat as there isn’t much shade.
It’s just a really random and fun time. Heck, you don’t know what you are going to see, last year there was on engagement on the track.
All proceeds benefit Buda Lions Club.
