Bumble Creates ‘Empowering Connections’ Activation at SXSW Interactive

Bumble, the female-first social networking app with over 27 million global users, is fueling connections in an exciting new way at the 2018 South by Southwest® (SXSW®) conference on March 9 -10. Bumble will curate unique experiences at their Bumble Presents: Empowering Connections activation at Fair Market (1100 E 5th St, Austin, TX 78702), which will also feature two days of speakers, musical performances and powerful keynotes.
Speakers will share insights on networking, entrepreneurship, healthy relationships, wellness, and more over the course of the activation. Speakers include: Activist and Author Aija Mayrock, Author of Boss Bride and Essence Senior Editor Charreah Jackson, Founder of Bleubird, Co-founder of Mother, and Creative Director/Co-Founder of Two Son James Kicinski-McCoy, Hate Copy, Bumble Sociologist and relationship expert Dr. Jess Carbino, filmmaker and producer Yoruba Richen, Nha Khanh Designer Khanh Nguyen and more.
Additionally, badge holders and Bumble users will experience a Bio Bar to optimize their Bumble profile and the chance to make the first move with 5-Minute First Dates. Bumble Bizz will host a real-time ‘Elevator Pitch’ – winners will receive a Dell XPS 13, perfect for running your small business in style.
The daytime event is open to all Bumble Date, Bumble BFF, Bumble Bizz users (ages 18+) and SXSW badge holders. The evening event is limited to SXSW badge holders only.
