Casa Brasil Coffees – Meet the Grower and DO Coffee Class

Join Casa Brasil Coffees, a local coffee importer and roaster, for a Meet the Grower event at Sa-Ten Coffee & Eats, featuring coffee producer Yuki Minami from the Cerrado Mineiro Region. Casa Brasil will provide pour-over coffees new microlot produced by Yuki.
Casa Brasil has partnered with the Cerrado Mineiro Region as an ambassador brand to bring Brazilian Denomination of Origin coffees to the U.S., including high-quality single-origin coffees like the one produced by Yuki, which will be available for tasting at the event.
In addition to coffee pour-overs, Casa Brasil will also host a class on the coffee procurement process. This is a great opportunity for all coffee lovers to learn more and taste the difference of regional certification.
The Cerrado Mineiro Region is an officially recognized and protected Designation of Origin for coffees. The demarcated area is composed of 55 municipalities located in the northwest of Minas Gerais, with altitudes ranging from 800 to 1,300 meters.
The coffees bring the identity and sensorial attributes originated from the typical set of soil and the unique edaphoclimatic conditions of the Cerrado Mineiro D.O., which are complementary to the human and cultural elements that also contribute to the unique characteristics of the coffees produced in this terroir.
