Central TX Congenital Heart Walk

Plans are underway for the Central Texas seventh annual Congenital Heart Walk, benefiting those affected by the number one birth defect in the world!

The Congenital Heart Walk is a national fundraising event series benefiting the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) and The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF). We walk to honor and remember the millions who have been impacted by congenital heart disease (CHD).
The Congenital Heart Walk shows the nation how a team of inspired individuals can join together to make a difference. Funds raised will support the missions of both national nonprofit organizations who are uniting to fight CHD! Since 2010, CHW has raised more than $10 million in total. To date, our Central Texas event has raised over $430,000 and attracts over five hundred walkers to each event. You can create a team, and/or join an existing team. You are welcome to sign up on our website.
We are offering a family friendly 1 mile walk route and 5K fun run! Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. (and is free), and the Walk kicks-off at 10:00 a.m. Activities and raffle before & after the walk! We hope you and your family will come out and help us fight congenital heart disease on May 5th at the Travis County Exposition Center. (Enter through Gate 1) There will be a $5 parking fee.
