Classic Film Series presented by Capital Metro – Women Make Film

The Paramount Theatre is announcing the return of the annual Classic Film Series presented by Capital Metro for the 45th year. After closing for six months, the Paramount will be opening the doors with strong health and safety initiatives for guests and staff, and for now it will operate at only 25% capacity, leaving plenty of room for social distancing in the historic movie palace. Film tickets can be purchased online at www.austintheatre.org/film. The Paramount is also partnering with Turner Classic Movies to celebrate women filmmakers with movies such as “A League of Their Own,” “Love and Basketball,” and “Merrily We Go to Hell” leading up to a special screening of TCM’s new “Women Make Film” documentary series on October 3.
